ANEP Request for Bids Announcement: Technical Services for Website Redesign

The Association of National Estuary Programs is soliciting proposals from website development vendors to assist in the redesign and migration of our website, and to implement a content management system to enable an in-house website team to update content. In concert with the ANEP Project team, the Vendor will analyze and evaluate the current ANEP website, review what content should or should not be migrated, and what content needs to be updated, deleted, or added. In concert with ANEP Project Team, the Vendor will develop a plan for content migration that will not only move content but also find opportunities to improve the functionality and interactive capabilities of the website, all the while implementing a CMS to broaden participation in website updates.

Approval of the redesign plan will be obtained from the ANEP Project Team prior to project implementation. The Vendor will select, with justification and approval from the ANEP Project Team, a content management system, and provide training to a small group of select ANEP members during the process and in preparation for the launch of the new site. The Vendor must complete the migration of existing and any newly created content into the new infrastructure. The Vendor, in cooperation with the ANEP Project Team, will oversee a solicitation for content from board members. The new domain hosting account will be owned and managed by ANEP, and existing nameservers will be directed to the new site once finalized.

Additional details and tasks are contained in our Request for Bids.

Bids are due no later than 5 p.m. EST, Friday, March 10, 2017 and must be submitted electronically to Alison Branco, ANEP Secretary and Project Team Leader, at anepwebsite@gmail.com.
